The store you know and love is growing and changing! We feel that it is time to have our name reflect our changes while giving a nod to Lecompton’s history.
“Recollections” is now (drumroll, please) “Bald Eagle Mercantile!”
Please join us October 18, 19, and 20, Friday from 10-7pm, Saturday and Sunday from 10-3pm for our Grand Re-Opening! Enjoy specials throughout the store! Celebrate our new name with us!
Why “Bald Eagle Mercantile?” Because, being so close to the beautiful Kansas River, we love the experience of seeing bald eagles overhead. Plus, before our town was named “Lecompton,” it briefly had the name “Bald Eagle.” The name is part of our history!
